Finishing the new suspension, and getting ready to bolt up the new axle. But whats this? when you flip the ubolts on an 85 toy front axle, the square gussett points them in a funny direction!!! See the next gallery for the solution.
Another interesting note is the piece of steel currently tack-welded to the perch. Seems that Toyota's Push-Pull steerig necessitated the use of a heavier rate spring on one side of the truck, which required the other side having a spring perch that is 3/8" of an inch taller! Since im not using toyot's steering, i needed to weld a 3/8" piece of steel to the top of the driverside spring perch so the front of the zuk wont be on an angle.
