today was a pretty constructive day. Or should i say destructive? Today we began phase two in stripping down the zuk. Finally got the damned tailgate off (blasted lock-tite), removed the crappy OEM sport cage, and starting hacking the fenders up. Tomorrow theyll get painted, but they wont be finished till after i can get it flexed out to see how much more sheetmetal needs to be removed. I even had to cut the tub xmember in the front where the front bumper bolts, cause you couldnt turn the wheels (almost at all!) without digging into the tread.
The tires stick out like 6" on each side now! Im going to have to make fender flares to cover them at least partially.
