This trip wasnt exactly what we planned it to be.
The goal was to get out to the gravel pit for some sleddin in the 2' of snow that fell (up to 3' drifts), but plans changed when steve got stuck as hell, and i broke my snatch strap trying to extract him. Hell, at one point in time, both of us were stuck, with my tow-strap tightly tethered between the two of us! I ended up having to leave to go get another snatch-strap and chains and other random stuff to try to get him out.
It took like 2 hours to get him turned around and back to the main trail, so we never did get to do any sledding...... |
