3G baby! I got in on a group buy from FFI on a 200a 3G altenator a few months back, but never got around to installing it until today. In addition to getting the alt, i also got a new charging cable (2 Ga w/ 225a fuse) and the proper connectors to wire in the alt direct from FFI. The job is pretty easy to do, the hardest part is fitting a grinder into the engine compartment to clearance the bracket for the larger 3G to fit. I was going to do a full writeup, but theres a good one already done on the install here. This should make spinning those electric fans (that im putting in shortly) no problem whatsoever, as well as leaving me plenty of juice to spare for other addons later on.
