Broncos everywhere! This was Day Two of the 40th Bronco Anniversary Ride @ Paragon. The first couple pics are actually from the Ramp Challenge the night before at the campground; the first pics was of one of the two other SASed broncos there. He was set up with stock TTB & 79 parts vs my aftermarket stuff; it really shows how much of a difference it makes to suspension travel. Anyways, on to the trail pics! We were running a little late so we hooked up with a group on Coal Rd, who were suypposed to be running Chicken Run, Drumstick & Q. Found em entering Drumstick. Turned out to be a small group of four, whch almost immediately turned to three when a yellow beater bronco blew a brake line and had to call it a day. The little broncos all made it up the trail, despite a little difficulty. The tank though proceeded to run up Drumstick w/o any real effort on our part at all. 42s are awesome :) When we got off that it was decided by the group that Chicken Run would be too easy, so we instead made our way over to Rattler. So Rattler we ran! This was my first time getting my own truck up on here in about two years, (altho me & matt did ride w/ a few buddies when eric busted his scrambler up). As expected, the trail was a bit more rutted out, but again, no problems on our part. From there we broke for lunch while a group cleared off our next trail; Rattlers Tail. Rattlers Tail was pretty uneventful. I dont even think dawn got out of the truck to take pics; we just kinda cruised from one end to the other. Form there we took a scenic trip to the play area to show off the park to the others, most of whom had never been to paragon before. Messed around there for a bit and then headed out for the day. |
