ECBR 2015!
We decided to break off and go do our own thing this year. With the 'break' part quite literally, apparently. Darrel broke a motor mount on Outer Limits, which lead to a torn trans mount, which made the front shaft and the trans linkage come apart. During recovery we succeeded in bending the front right leaf, and at one point his truck started rolling down hill, and smashed into the back of mine, wiping out his tailgate & rear window! But after all that, we were still able to get him back together enough to drive out.
From there we dropped his truck off, and then went and ran Cemetary, Trail 20, 13a, Rock Creek, Death Trap, & 23 before calling it a day. All told ~15-18 miles of trails. |
