With the 460 swap i decided to move the OBA tank. It made room for the bigger exhaust system i needed, and it allowed me to upgrade to a bigger tank at the same time.
Pic 1 shows my original 3 gallon tank in some unused space under the toolbox. Lots of extra room for a bigger tank. Well, it just so happened that i spotted an 11 gallon tank on the shelf at Harbor Freight on sale for a decent price, so i snatched it up. I had to cut the handle off the top, add a second foot to it, and then add a bung to the side so it would fit under the tool box, but i still think it was worth starting with this tank. It completely fills up the space which has been unused since the cab swap, and should give me all the extra capacity i need to really get that impact gun cranking. |
