a 3/4 ton bronco?! What?! So yeah. Got a 85 K20 front axle for the donr parts for the front, and salvaged the D50 chunk/10.25 out of the 90 F250 parts truck (4.10s), for the rest. Plus a set of 305/70/16 BFGs on factory wheels. Should make for a good combo on the road. The front axle has been fully rebuilt using the chevy stub shafts, spindles, caliper bracket, calipers & rotors. 6-stud TTB knuckles from a pre-4WABS bronco with the oem caliper mounts cut off. AS an added bonus, the middle two shafts from the D50 TTB were swapped in, to get the bigger 1350 series ujoint in the middle. The rear is nothing special, just a cleaned up 10.25 with the finned AL diff cover that came on the 08-10ish Superdutys. The rear driveshaft went to the local driveline to be shortened 1", along with being fully rebuilt with all new spicer parts. And in case you wre wondering, the rear leafs are B-Code Superduty leafs, which add ~2½" of lift compared to a stock bronco leaf. |
